This obituary has been placed on our website as a courtesy to the Drescher family who made their home here in Jasper for many years. The Florida Power Corporation brought many wonderful people into our community. Their journey through our county made it a better place.

Robert "Bob" Drescher, Sr. passed away on April 24, 2018.

Bob moved to Jasper, Florida in 1954 where he met and married Tempie Curry. He was a scout leader and a little league coach. Bob attended and served First Baptist Church in Jasper as a deacon and as a youth leader. He worked for the Florida Power Corporation and moved to St. Petersburg in 1971 to continue his career. He loved softball, golf, music, the beach and enjoying time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Robby and David Drescher.

Robert will be laid to rest in Indian Rocks, Florida  beside his wife who proceeded him in death. Robert was 86 years old.
