Robert Gilbert Perry a.k.a. "Bub", of Jennings, FL. passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2023 at his home.

Bub celebrated his 70 ^th birthday on March 31 ^st . He was born in 1953 in Malone, New York to the late Robert Edmond Perry and Geraldine Sancomb Perry of Malone, NY. He lived in New York most of his life and retired from Carrier Air Conditioning Company where he worked for many years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and diving into the computer for information. He always had a garden and when he moved from New York to Jennings, FL. in 2017, he put his heart and soul into it their new home he loved. He enjoyed riding between his house and the neighbors on his golf cart sharing ideas, a meal and a good laugh and was never ever far away from his beloved dog, Buxton. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jessica Kaitlynn Perry, his sister, Kathy McGee and a number of siblings in infancy.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Perry of Jennings, FL.; his sons, Kyle R. Perry of Volney, NY and Kenneth G. Vice, Jr. of Utica, NY; his only daughter, Lisa A. Perry Carr of Lacona, NY; brothers, Bryon Perry (Cindy) of Brushton, NY and Jamie Perry (Misty) of Malone, NY; his sister, Karon Russell (Jackie) of Malone, NY; brother-in-law, Gary McGee (Gail) of Malone, NY; step sisters, Tammy Elerby of Myrtle Beach, SC and Susan Brewer of NC; his five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; Buxton the pup; and good friends and neighbors, Larry and Sarah Steedley.

At Bob's request, he was cremated. There will be no formal service. It was Bob's wish that he be remembered with a smile. For anyone who knew him, his easy going and fun-loving personality makes the smile an easy thing to do.
