Roland Alfred Tanguay, age 81, of Jennings, FL. passed away on January 19. 2023 from natural causes.

Roland was a native and longtime resident of Westbrook, Maine. He was born on February 20, 1941 to the late Raoul and Rose Arsenault Tanguay. Roland worked at a shoe shop as a shoe-maker for many years but also enjoyed his time at the bakery preparing baked goods for the families in Maine. Both of these admirable professions. As other members of the family made their way to Florida, so did Roland. He made his home in Jennings, FL. in Hamilton County. Roland was a quiet type, felt little need to get out and get in other people's business, he just enjoyed the comforts of his home and family that dropped in from time to time to check on him. Sadly, Roland has seen the passing of a number of family members that include three of his brothers, Donald, Gerard and David Tanguay and sisters, Priscilla Moulton, Florence Tanguay and Gloria Tanguay.

Survivors include three brothers, Robert, Michael and Camil Tanguay and his remaining living sister, Germaine Phinney.

Per his wishes, Roland was cremated and will return home to Maine to be laid to rest with the other members of his family.
