Ronald Eugene Hart, age 74, of White Springs, FL. passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Gainesville, FL. following a brief illness.

Ronald was born in Sparks, Georgia on August 7, 1944 to the late Ivey and Agnes Southerland Hart. The family moved to Hamilton County, FL. when he was just a young boy. Ronald was one of 18 children so they knew they had to work and he was happy to do it because most of the time it included a couple of his brothers and they had a blast riding tractors and working around on the farm. He worked on the farms around Bellville and Jasper here and there until it was time to get out and find a public job. He landed himself a job at Occidental/PCS and there he would remain for well over 30 years. When Ronald wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing and shooting the breeze with his friends. Sadly many of his siblings have passed on but the Hart family is still very large and they do so enjoy spending time together when possible. Ronald was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Kristy Leigh Hart in 2009. Comfort comes in knowing he joins a host of family in heaven.

Survivors include his son, Ronnie Hart of White Springs, FL.; several brothers and sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. four grandchildren, Jami Lynn Hart, Mindy Griffis, Bud Hart and Lance Hart; seven great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held on Monday, May 13, 2019 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. with Bro. Randy Ogburn officiating.
