Obituary

Ronald "Ron"  Lynwood Radney, Jr., age 45, of Titusville, Florida passed away at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. on April 28, 2017 following a brief illness.

Funeral services were held  on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at New Hope Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

Ron was born in Hahira, Georgia on January 1, 1972 to the late Ronald L. Radney, Sr. and Debra Rogers (Mitchell). He graduated from Hamilton County High School and was known for his witty personality. Classmates remember him fondly as being a "cool character". He married his high school sweet heart, Anjanette Rebecca Adams, and they welcomed daughter Jordyn Rebecca Radney to their family. The couple made their home in Titusville, Florida where Ron was employed for almost 19 years with Pike Electric as a general foreman.  Ron was preceded in death by a brother, Bryan Radney.

Survivors include his wife, Anjanette Adams Radney and his daughter, Jordyn Rebecca Radney, both of Titusville; his mother and step-father, Debbie and Senator Richard Mitchell of Jasper, FL.; one brother, Chase Cannady (Kara) of North Dakota; three sisters, Savannah Mitchell, Ft. Pierce, FL., Kylie Wainwright (Barney), Jasper, FL., and Jessica Hall (Cooper) of North Carolina; his maternal grandmother, Hattie Rogers; mother-in-law, Becky Jo Adams; brother-in-law, Mike Adams (Jill) and sister-in-law, Dawn Combass (Mike); several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to "Yantz's Sun is Back Foundation" P.O. Box  643064 Vero Beach, FL. 32064 a non-profit organization formed to help families who children have received organ transplants.

Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. is in charge of arrangements.
