Ronald Mathis, age 69, of Jasper, FL. passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL. following an extended illness. Ronnie was born in Jasper, FL. on April 10, 1944 to the late Will and Jimmie Beckham Mathis. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Mollie Mathis; two daughters, Emily Rollins (Harley Sr.), Interlachen, FL. and Laura Sykes (Larry), Palatka, FL.; one sister, Frances Arthur (Buck) of Lake City, FL.; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Monday, December 30, 2013 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper.
