Rosalind Sara Karlin Sherrod, age 79, of Jasper, FL. passed away at her home on Saturday, August 3, 2013. The Brooklyn, New York native was a longtime resident of Hamilton County, FL. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant at the old Hamilton County Hospital. She was a natural caretaker and loved people. Rosalind was predeceased by husbands, James "Jim" Truax and William Sherrod; two sons, Wayne and Kenneth; and a grandson, Cody.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Danielle, Brittany and Brandon; six great grandchildren, Alex, Alycia, Melia, Jeramiah, Izayah and Marrissa.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Corinth Baptist Church near Jasper. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be at the church on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m.
