Ruby Belle Ware, of Lake City, FL. passed away at the age of 75 at Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lake City where she made her home for a little while. Like most people, once she adjusted, Ruby actually enjoyed living at the nursing home. Her health condition had deteriorated and she was pretty much home-bound and so she found at the nursing home she had enough help to be up and about to go to activities and visit with others. She enjoyed Bingo and seemed to be pretty much Bingo Champ in recent days. She also enjoyed playing cards, reading and diamond painting.

Ruby was born in Lakeland, FL. on September 5, 1946 to the late Marcus V. and Dorthea Bass Combee. She owned and operated a catering business for many years out in California and moved to the White Springs area in 2006 to be closer to family. Ruby was preceded in death by her grandson, DeWitt Cason, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Meloney Cason (DeWitt) of White Springs, FL.; two sons, William "Billy" Bibby (Loretta) of Lake Park, Ga. and Steve Bibby of White Springs, FL.; four grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 16, 2022 at the Jasper Assembly of God Church in Jasper, FL.
