Russell Nelson Fenner, Jr., age 73, of Jennings, FL. passed away early Monday, December 15, 2014 at his home following a lengthy illness. Russell was a native of Ledyard, Connecticut born September 5, 1941 to the late Russell Sr. and Gertrude Coates Fenner. He was a longtime resident of Connecticut working in the Tool and Dye industry as a supervisor with General Dynamics. Tired of the cold weather and employment offers afforded him the opportunity to move to sunny Florida, specifically Homestead where he lived for about 10 years. Having survived Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Russell decided to move to North Florida where he lived until his passing.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Marilyn Fenner; daughters, Ashlea Fenner of Miami and Danica Fenner of Lake Park, GA., Barbara Rogers and Tammy Sousa (Thomas) all of Connecticut; two sons, Russell Fenner III (Heather) and Eric Fenner, also of Connecticut; two sisters, Cora and Rosanne; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Per his request, Mr. Fenner was cremated.
