Sadie Barton Cox, born November 12, 1926, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 28, 2010. Sadie was preceded in death by her loving husband, J.D. Cox, Sr. and her daughter, Sadie L. Jones.

Sadie is survived by six children: J.D. Cox, Jr. (Shirley), Lake City, FL., Harry Cox (Myra), Jack Cox, Sandra Wood (Tommy), Gwen Morgan and Ben Cox (Wanda), all of Jasper, FL.; two sisters, Shirley Wood (Pete), Albany, GA. and Louise Sheddan (Hank), Live Oak, FL.; one brother, James Barton (Margaret), Bradenton, FL.; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Graveside services were held Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper with Pastor George Glover officiating.
