Sandra Elaine Hogan, age 78, of Smithfield, N.C. passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Rex Medical Center in Raleigh, N.C.

Graveside services were held  Friday, December 2, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL.

Sandra was born on August 12, 1938 in Jacksonville, FL. to the late Jud Washington and Carrabelle Green Knight. She was a homemaker. Sandra was predeceased by her husband, James Herbert Hogan and a son, Allan Hogan.

Survivors include one son Chris Hogan (Becky), Lake City, FL.; two daughters, Kay Nathey (Jimmy), Smithfield, N.C. and Kathy Kuerzi (Fran), Lake City, FL.; one brother, Dale Knight, Cairo, GA.; one sister, Marilynn Bishop, Jacksonville, FL.; three grandchildren, Ashley Oliver (Brent), Kelli Newcomer (Matt) and Kearstin Hogan; three great grandchildren, Brenden, Eric and Brody.
