Sandra Kay O'Steen, age 75, of Lake Park, GA., passed away on November 3, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Sandra was born in Valdosta, GA. on July 18, 1943 to the late James and Mary G. Kinsey. She worked primarily in accounting most of her adult life. When she retired from the accounting field, Sandy worked as a Para Professional for a brief amount of time.


Sandy was a very loving person. Granny "O" as she was so fondly referred to was a big supporter of her grandsons and loved to go watch their ballgames. Sandy loved the mountains and all the beauty that came with them. Besides her grandchildren, Sandy had a another favorite, her sidekick and favorite pup "Sparky" who was never far from her side.

Survivors include her two daughters whom she loved with all of her heart, Miranda Collins and her husband James and Deidra Payne and her husband Ryan, and her two precious grandchildren, Matthew and Kaleb Payne, all of Perry, Ga.; and her sister, Jan Kinsey, Lake Park, GA.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Jennings United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m.
