Sarah Taylor Beaty, age 88, Jennings, FL., passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. following an illness of some time. Sarah was born October 29, 1922 to the late John Lewis Taylor and Mary Esther Collins Taylor. She was the school secretary at North Hamilton Elementary in Jennings for a number of years. Following her retirement from the school system she worked in retail sales. Mrs. Beaty was a member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Jennings.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald Beaty (Earlene) and Christy Beaty; two daughters, Rhonda Smith (C.L.) and Candice Snipes (Billy); one brother, Ed Taylor (Grace); all of Jennings, FL.;
7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. Interment followed at Sassers Landing Cemetery.
