Obituary
Mrs. Sarah Stone Henderson, age 93 of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening August 16, 2016 at her home in Jackson, TN. Her passing came just three days before her 94th birthday.
Sarah was born on August 19, 1922 in Jackson, TN to the late William Owen and Susie Marie Black Stone. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Jasper, FL. Sarah was preceded in death by her daughter Marie Pardue and her husband the late Alton M. Henderson.
She is survived by her two sons, Frank Henderson of Crump, TN and William Henderson of Jasper, FL; five grandchildren, Paige Ryan, John Henderson, Catherine Henderson, Gregory Henderson, and Kelsey Henderson; one great granddaughter, Sarah-Kate Ryan.
The family wishes to thank Joyce Adams and Penny Bromley for their loving care and attention to Sarah.
Graveside services were held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL.
Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church in Jackson.
