Obituary
Shirley Ann Stride, age 71, of Jasper, FL. passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Shands Lake Shore Hospital in Lake City, FL. following an illness of some time.
Shirley Ann was the daughter of the late Venice and Lana Willis Fender, born in Polk County, Florida on Oct. 27, 1946. She worked for many years at Jasper Textile and was a cook around town for several restaurants including several years at Huddle House. She loved her family and enjoyed spending what time she had with them. She also loved her dogs. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Stride in August of 2017.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Loretta Taylor; her daughter, Rebecca Stride; one brother, Jerry Fender; one sister, Doris Davis; three grandsons, Travis, Justin and Colby Taylor and four great grandchildren, Tatum, Carter, Cassi and Easton Taylor.
Per her request, Shirley was cremated.
