Sidney Jasper Marlowe
January 20, 1948 – November 19, 2025

Sidney Jasper Marlowe, age 77, passed away on November 19, 2025, at HCA North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He was born on January 20, 1948, to Columbus and Cloria Marlowe. He married the love of his life, Debra Moore Marlowe, and together they shared 52 years of marriage filled with love, companionship, and cherished memories.

Sidney enjoyed a variety of interests that brought him joy throughout his life. He had a passion for collecting flashlights and maintained a small collection of baseball caps, delighted in listening to the timeless music of Elvis Presley, treasured vacations at the beach, and was always eager to explore any new tool or gadget he could get his hands on. His curiosity and playful spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Moore Marlowe; his sons, Justin Marlowe (Janelle) and Jared Marlowe; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Columbus Jasper Marlowe, his mother, Cloria Flowers Marlowe, and his siblings Mamie Lee Simmons, Dollie Mae Black Mills, Helen Evans, Frances Harry, and Curtis Marlow.

A memorial service to honor Sidney's life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the service following at 11:00 a.m. at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home.  Family, friends, and all who knew him are invited to gather in remembrance of a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished family member whose warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched the lives of many.
