Obituary

Stacey Ann Perez, age 52, of White Springs, Florida, passed away on October 28, 2023 at her cherished home in White Springs.

Born on March 27, 1971, in Clinton, Connecticut, Stacey was the beloved daughter of James Crabtree and Gail Ann Morris Crabtree. At the age of 13, began a new chapter in her life as her family moved to Florida, where she would go on to graduate from Lecanto High School in Citrus County.

It was in Citrus County that Stacey's path would cross with Manuel Perez, a man who would become the love of her life. In 1988, they exchanged vows and began a journey together that would span a lifetime. Over the years, they welcomed four wonderful children into their lives.

Manuel's job led their sweet family to explore the beauty of several state parks. Stacey found joy in this adventurous lifestyle, particularly in the serene natural surroundings of these parks. She had a deep appreciation for bird watching and gardening. Stacey's green thumb was well-known among her friends and family, and her gardens were always filled with vibrant life and beauty. She also had a special place in her heart for her feline and canine companions.

Stacey is survived by her loving husband, Manuel Perez of White Springs, FL; her three devoted sons: Manuel Perez, Jr. of Palm Beach County, FL, Manuel R. Perez of Miami, FL and Antonio Manuel Perez of Gainesville, FL; and her adoring daughter, Ariel Ann Perez of Olympia, WA. She is also survived by her two sisters, Tiffany Hill (Scott) of Orlando, FL, and Gabriel Crabtree of Springfield, MA. Additionally, Stacey leaves behind a legacy that will continue through her soon-to-be granddaughter, Ava Perez.

A service to celebrate Stacey's life will be planned at a later date.
