Susan Strickland, age 62, Jasper, FL. passed away early Friday morning Sept. 30, 2011 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. Sue was born in Jasper, FL. to the late Willie (Bill) Strickland and Gloria Rose Cribbs Strickland. She was a lifetime resident of Jasper and was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Jasper.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Land; one daughter Charlene Christie, Jasper, FL.; one brother, Charlie Frank Strickland Sr., (Linda), Live Oak, FL.; one sister, Hazel Strickland, Jasper, FL.; step children, Chasity Padgett, Jasper, FL., Leanne Starling, Sylvania, GA., and Bobby Land II, Jasper, FL.; one granddaughter and six step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 2, 2011 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Redman officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
