Suzanne Melissa Haney, age 60, passed away on September 28, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Roseville, CA to the late Joyce Wilhelmina and Charles Monroe Haney Sr. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, William Frederick Haney. Suzanne worked for over a decade at Care-A-Lot Pet Store serving as the warehouse manager.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Kelly Nicole Constancia Leitao and Reinaldo DeFatima Bala Leitao, Jr.; grandchildren, Isaiah Hylton, Robert Best, Jr., Ricky Leitao, III, LaChey Leitao, Aja Leitao, Imari Leitao-Turner, and Amancio Leitao; great-grandchildren, Javon Mallory, Jr. and Jazlyn Mallory, brothers, Charles Monroe Haney, Jr. (Lora Powell-Haney), David Eugene Haney, Sr. (Anna), and Robert Ellis Haney (Gloria); aunts, Virginia LaRusso and Virginia Pierce; and a host of other family and friends.

Suzanne will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery near Jennings in a private service.
