Tammy Lynnette Sanders, age 47, of Jennings, FL. passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Shands UF Hospital in Gainesville, FL. following a brief illness.

Tammy was born in St. Petersburg, FL. on March 4, 1971 to Charlie Boyd and Linda Slack. She was a retail clerk until her grandchildren began to arrive. It was then that she decided life was just better with grandchildren around and so she decided to retire and keep those babies. Tammy moved to the Jennings area 18 years ago from St. Pete. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Servatius and her beloved son, Billy Sanders.

Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Sanders, Jr.; her son, Bruce Sanders and her two daughters, Ashley and Leslie Sanders; her two grandchildren, Jessie and Allen Wells.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper. Interment followed at Sassers Landing Cemetery.
