Obituary

Tamsey Kelley Prine Cunningham, age 90, of Jennings, FL. passed away at her home in Jennings on Sunday, December 17, 2017 following an extended illness.

Tamsey was born in Madison County, FL. on January 17, 1927 to the late John James "Jim" and Flora Parker Kelley. She met and married a young man named Jack Prine from Echols County and they raised two children together. Tamsey was a kind and generous lady. She gave of her time and talents helping others in the community. She was loved by the many children she worked with over the years at North Hamilton Elementary. She enjoyed her job in the library teaching and helping students learn how to use the library system and helping them learn to read. Tamsey's smile could light up a room and there was plenty of personality to back up that smile. One thing she was not, was slow. Everyone knew that fast gear was all she had. Tamsey was a faithful member of Jennings Missionary Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Prine.

Survivors include her husband, Harrell Cunningham of Cocoa, FL.; one son, Rudy Keith Prine of Statenville, GA.; one daughter, Linda Freeman of Jennings, FL.; one sister, Edna Deas of Tucker, GA.; four grandchildren, W.I. "Little Bill" Butler, Jr., Jack Butler, Jacqueiline and Michelle Prine; two great granddaughters, Cassie Butler and Jordan Butler; and one great great-grandson, Issac Davis.

Per Tamsey's request, there will be no formal services.
