Teresa Hernandez-Bautista, age 62 of Jennings, FL. passed away at E.T. York Gainesville Hospice following a brief illness.

Teresa was born in Oaxaca, Mexico to the late Macedonio and Juana Hernandez. She was a homemaker. Teresa and her husband Albino came to this country from Mexico with their early experiences in the United States in Quincy, FL. Later they moved to Ft. Myers as migrant workers and then to Jennings where they made their home.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Macedonio and Juana, a brother, Juaquin Hernandez, a sister, Apolinaria Hernandez-Bautista and her grandson, Ethan Lopez.

She is survived by her husband, Albino Lopez; four sons, Amorilio Lopez, Albino Lopez, Jr., Francisco Lopez and Luis Lopez; her three daughters, Maria Guadalupe-Lopez, Veronica Cruz and Cristina Lopez; her two brothers, Fidel Hernandez and Pedro Hernandez; her sister, Benita Hernandez-Garcia; and 16 grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Jasper, FL.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, July 31, 2019 at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home between the hours of 6:00-8:00 p.m.
