Teresita Alidon Herring, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully departed this life on her 62nd birthday, March 26, 2024, at her home in Jennings, FL, surrounded by her cherished family. Born on March 26, 1962, in General MacArthur, Eastern Samar, Philippines, Teresita's life was a testament to love, devotion, and the simple joys of life.

Teresita's passion for cooking and baking brought warmth and happiness to the lives of many. For many years, she dedicated herself to her work at Sam's in the bakery, where her delicious treats brought smiles to the faces of those she served. Additionally, she found happiness and fulfillment in her garden, particularly in nurturing her beloved gardenias, which brought color and beauty to her home.

Above all, Teresita's heart belonged to her family, and her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. Whether baking treats together, tending to her garden, or simply sharing stories, Teresita treasured every moment spent with her loved ones.

Teresita is survived by her adoring husband, Danny Herring, and her loving children: Jennifer Herring (Rob Amaral) of Fort Wayne, IN; Karen Herring of Gainesville, FL; and Danny Herring III of Jasper, FL. She will also be deeply missed by her three grandchildren: Nova Herring, Selah Herring, and Monty Herring.

A funeral service to honor the beautiful life of Teresita will be held on Friday, March 29th, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, with a time of visitation just before the service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Jasper, FL.
