Obituary
Thelma Mae Zipperer Amerson, age 91, of Jasper, Fl. passed away at her home on March 29, 2018. Thelma was born on August 13, 1926 to the late Joseph C. Zipperer and Annie Mae Cone Zipperer. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Del Eugene Amerson (Gene) in 2007.
Thelma is survived by her 11 children, 1 brother, Joseph C. Zipperer of Jennings, Fl. and 1 sister, Lottie Zipperer of Jasper, Fl.
Survivors include; 6 sons: Jimmy Amerson, (Verna), Hahira, Ga. Tim Amerson, Jasper, David Amerson, Jasper, John Amerson, Jasper, Billy Joe Amerson (Lisa), Jasper and Walter Amerson (Brenda), Jennings.
5 daughters: Jo Ann Lucas, Live Oak, Georgie Rowe (Gene), Jasper, Sadie Pettrey (Billy), McAlpin, Penny Pettrey (Kenneth), McAlpin and Bobbie Jo Hunter (Neville), Live Oak.
Thelma has 24 grandchildren, several step grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Hebron Cemetery of Jasper, FL.
