Thelma Jewel Morgan, age 60, of Gainesville, FL. passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at Shands of U.F. Hospital in Gainesville.

Thelma was born in Hamilton County, FL. on January 24, 1953 to proud parents, John and Pauline Dunaway Morgan. Thelma made her home at Tacachale Center for Excellence the last 45 years. She was a special gift from God and she will be missed by all who shared her world. Thelma was preceded in death by a nephew Travis Morgan.

Survivors include her parents, John and Pauline Morgan of White Springs, FL.; two brothers, David Morgan and Dwight Morgan, both of White Springs, FL.; four sisters, Marilyn Cowart (Donnie), White Springs, FL., Vonnie Strickland (David), Live Oak, FL., Shirley Aldridge (Glenn) and Patricia Douglas (Adam), all of White Springs, FL.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. with Rev. Randy Ogburn officiating.

Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery in White Springs, FL.
