Theresa Oberland Bailey, age 78, of Jasper, FL. unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

Theresa was a native of Brooklyn, New York. She was born on December 22, 1942 to the late Edward and Ada Calhoun Oberland. She met and married David R. Bailey and the two became parents to a son, Matthew. Theresa worked as a purchasing agent for the State of Mississippi before retiring to Jasper, FL. David predeceased Theresa in March of 2017.

Survivors include her only son Matthew and his fiance` Angie; Angie's mother, Robin Young and Angie's sister, Melissa.

Extended family members also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Corinth Baptist Church.

A viewing will be held at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. In keeping with Covid restrictions, guest are ask to enter the church, view and exit the church in a timely manner to avoid crowding inside the building.
