Thomas Gary Plair, age 64, of Jennings, FL. passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Signature Healthcare in Ft. Myers, FL. following an extended stay.

Memorial services were held Thursday, March 23, 2017 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL.

Gary was born in Valdosta, GA on January 4, 1953 to the late Ed and Lossie Fishburn Plair. He grew up in the town of Jennings, FL. and was known by everyone. He had quite a personality and hardly ever met a stranger. Gary worked at his father's gas station "Plair's Shell Service" in Jennings until it was closed.  He enjoyed watching the Florida Gators play whenever he had the chance. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and most recently his brother Jerry Don Plair and his sister, Patti Patrick.

Survivors include one brother, David Plair, Covington, GA; two sisters,  Faye Wacter Blair, Madison, FL. and Lynn Plair Davis, Jennings, FL.; nieces, nephews and a host of cousins also survive.
