Obituary
Thomas Perkins, Sr., 88, a longtime resident of Jacksonville passed away on Saturday November 1st at home with his wife and family. Thomas was born July 29, 1926 in Jasper, Fl. He was a WW II veteran and taught Science at Oceanway Junior High School for 33 years before retiring.
Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Lorene; 3 sons, Thomas, Jr. (Sue), Gary (Debbie), and Michael Ray; sister, Rachel Ballard; 4 grand, 7 great grand, and 2 great-great grandchildren.Funeral service will be held Thursday Nov. 6th at 2:00 pm in the Dunns Creek Baptist Church with Pastor David R. Malmberg, officiating.
Burial will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the Evergreen Cemetery, Jasper, Florida.
