IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tommy Earl
Harrison
October 12, 1949 – April 20, 2025
Tommy Earl Harrison, age 75, of Jasper, Florida, passed away on April 20, 2025. Born on October 12, 1949, in Jacksonville to Russell and Ruby Harrison, Tommy lived a life marked by service, strength, and a deep love for the outdoors.
Tommy proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he worked as a mechanic and earned the National Defense Service Medal. His time in the military shaped his disciplined work ethic, strong sense of duty, and unwavering commitment to those around him. He carried those values with him throughout his life, both in his personal relationships and in the way he lived each day—with quiet strength and unwavering faith.
After his military service, Tommy continued to put his mechanical skills to good use and remained a hands-on man who could fix just about anything. In addition to serving the Lord, he found happiness in the great outdoors. He enjoyed the thrill of racing, the peace of fishing, and the tradition of hunting. A man of deep and abiding faith, Tommy leaned on his beliefs through all of life's seasons.
He is survived by his sons, Wade Harrison and Ronnie Harrison, both of Jacksonville; his brothers, Dwight "Red" Harrison of Bryceville, FL, Darren Harrison of White House, FL, and Calvin "Bunky" Harrison of Macclenny, FL; and his sister, Shirley Carter of Alma, GA. Tommy is also survived by four grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom were a great source of pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Harrison Hulton who passed away on December 11, 2020; his sister, Donna Harrison who passed away March 14, 2025; and his grandson, Kyle Harrison who died December 5, 2022.
The family will remember and celebrate Tommy's life with a memorial service on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Jasper, FL. A family reception will be held at the church following the service. A graveside service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Hebron Cemetery in Jasper, FL. The family asks for friends to come as you are and bring your memories to share to remember and honor a life so beautifully lived.
