Obituary
Vera Alline Morgan, age 90, of Kingsland, Georgia passed away at her home on Friday, September 16, 2016 following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Corinth Baptist Church near Jasper, FL. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Vera was born in Jasper, FL. on August 8, 1926 to the late Wiley and Lillie T. Dorman Green. She was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, FL. where she worked in the food service industry. Vera was preceded in death by her husband Carlos L. Morgan and two sons Gary and Carlton Morgan.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Smith of Kingsland, GA., Gloria Sullivan and her husband Walter of Jacksonville, FL. and Carolyn Combs and her husband John also of Jacksonville; 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
