Vickie Ranell Layton, age 60, of McAlpin, FL. passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Lake City Medical Center following a lengthy battle with Covid.

Vickie was born in Climax, GA. on April 22, 1961 to the late Richard Bearden and her mother, Gloria Nix Bearden. Vickie enjoyed nursing and helping others as a certified nursing assistant.

Survivors include her mother, Gloria Talbert; her brother, Richard Ray Bearden, Jr.; her sisters, Fran and Barbara; her son, David Layton and his wife Candice of Live Oak, Fl.; her daughter, Rachel Edmonds and her husband  Matthew of White Springs, FL. She leaves behind one grandson and one grandchild on the way.

Memorial services were held  on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Suwannee River Church of the Nazarene, 18763 County Road 137, White Springs, FL.
