Virginia Naples Suty, age 55, of Jonesboro, GA. and White Springs, FL. passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 following an illness of some time. Mrs. Suty was born in Ithaca, New York. She was a former employee at PCS (Occidental) in the lab and as long as her health permitted, she put to use her degree in education working locally at Lake City Christian Acadamy, Lake City Community College and in the Hamilton County School System. In Atlanta she taught in the math department at Clayton State University. For more than 45 years she was associated with the Girl Scouts at Gateway Girl Scout Council in Jacksonville an umbrella for the local scouts and with the Greater Atlanta Girl Scout Council.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Suty, Jonesboro, GA.; and her parents, Neil and Virginia Naples of Melbourne, FL.

A graveside committal service was held Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Riverside Cemetery in White Springs, FL. A memorial service followed at the First Presbyterian Church in White Springs, FL.
