William F. "Billy" Hightower, age 74, was called home on Monday, December 5, 2016.

Services were held Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the Wacissa United Methodist Church.

Interment followed at Beth Page Cemetery.

Billy was born in Jefferson County, Florida on March 14, 1942 to Benjamin Franklin Hightower and Katie Lou Allen Hightower. Billy was a life-long law enforcement officer and proudly served the Blue for over forty five years with honor, integrity and distinction. He retired with the rank of Captain.
Billy loved hunting, fishing, camping, his workshop and was an avid Seminole. Above all, Billy loved the Lord, his family, friends and country.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Teva Kemp Hightower; son, Bill Hightower, Jr. (Jennifer) of Jasper, FL.; daughter, Haley H. High (Jamie) of Crawfordville, FL.; brother, Franklin Hightower (Voncille) of Monticello, FL.; beloved grandchildren, Olivia, Whitney, Ella Hightower; Tucker and Anna High; and two step-grandchildren, Ridge and Trevor Cone.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Katie Hightower; and his sisters, Ellen Beliveau, Betty Hartsville, Alice Warmack and Helen Couver.
