William Roland "Bo" Izell, age 66, of Jasper, FL. passed away on December 13, 2020 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. following a brief illness.

Bo was born in Valdosta, GA. on May 29, 1954 to William and Ruby Strickland Izell. He worked for a number of years for the Hamilton County Road Department servicing our county on a road grader a thankless job but one he did well. When Bo was not working, you could count on one hand what he had his mind on and that would be hunting, hunting or hunting or his dogs and his guns. He loved all of these things but his one true love for his mother and her well being and that love was immeasurable. What mama said was what would be done and this dedication was not out of fear but out of love and respect for the woman who raised him and loved him through thick and thin. Bo was preceded by his father William, his brother-in-law, Lawrence Hampton and his beloved son, Brian Izell.

Survivors include his mother, Ruby Izell; his son, Jason "Jake" Izell (Lisa); his daughter, Roxanne Amerson; two brothers, Charles "Buddy" Izell (Cheryl) and Darrin "Bear" Izell (Teresa); three sisters, Ann Jenkins (Jody), Vicky Hampton and Denise Morgan (Ron); seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one on the way.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL.
