William Lamar "Bill" Lewis, age 82, of Palatka, FL. passed away on June 13, 2021.

Bill was born in Valdosta, Georgia on March 30, 1939 to the late William Shelton Lewis and Annie Laura Odom Lewis.

He attended the Georgia Military Academy. Bill was a former resident of Hahira, GA where he worked with the Hahira Police Department and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Glennis Lewis.

Survivors include wife, Mildred Lewis; his children, Lindsey Lewis (Lynda) , Sue Boykin, and Richard Lewis (Toni), all of Hahira, GA.; his step children, Robert Martin, Palatka, FL., Angela Martin, Palatka, FL. and Patricia Martin, Pelham, GA.; his sister, Becky Suggs (Mike), Crestview, FL.; four grandchildren, Emory Lewis, Kimberly Stapleton, Angela Lewis and Taylor Lewis.

Graveside services were held at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Hahira on Friday, June 18, 2021.
