Obituary
William Albert Sherrod, age 78, Jasper, FL. passed away May 28, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. following an extended illness. Sherrod was born in Dyersburg, TN to Ollie and Minnie Duke Sherrod. He served for a time in the United States Navy. Bill was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Rosalind "Roz" Sherrod, Jasper, FL.; one brother, Ronal Sherrod (Judy), Jasper; three grandchildren, Danielle, Birttany and Brandon; three great grandchildren, Alex, Jeremiah and Melia.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Corinth Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
