William V Du Coeur III, affectionately known as Trey, passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2024, at the age of 36. Trey lived in Jasper, Florida, but was born and raised in Lake City, Florida. He was born on December 15th, 1987. Trey loved to write short stories and play video games with his son. Trey leaves behind grieving family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Robin (Cowart) Werthmuller of Ocala, FL; two sisters, Brandi Du Coeur of Ocala, FL and Caitlin Du Coeur of Freeport, FL; a son, William V. Du Coeur IV of Branford, FL; a nephew, Brantley Coody of Freeport, FL; his girlfriend, Skye Wills of Jasper, FL; his grandparents, James ("Jim") and Laura (Eatman) Cranford of Branford, FL and Robert (Bob) Cowart of Jasper FL; his aunt, Tracie (Bentley) Cox of Ocala, FL; and his uncle, Jason (Jane) Cowart of Gainesville, FL.

A small memorial service/visition will be held to honor and celebrate his life on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL at 11:00 a.m. Trey was so loved and is greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father William (Billy) V Du Coeur Jr and grandparents William (Bill) V Du Coeu,r Sr and Faye (Morgan) Du Coeur of White Springs, FL.
