Willie Ray Register, age 68, of White Springs, FL. passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013.

Graveside services were held Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Prospect Cemetery near White Springs, FL.

Willie Ray was a native of Hamilton County, born March 22, 1945 to the late Leonard and Nita Edenfield Register. He worked at Occidental/PCS in maintenance for over 40 years before retiring. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he got the chance. Willie Ray was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of member of Longbranch Congregational Methodist Church. Mr. Register was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, L.A. Edenfield and Fred Edenfield and a sister, Marie Parker.

Survivors include his wife Edna Register, White Springs, FL.; three sons, Wesley Register, Nome, Alaska, Jerry Register (Nikki), Lake City, FL., Jimmy Fender, Sr. (Cathy), White Springs, FL.; one brother, Jackie Register (Millie), White Springs, FL.; two sisters, Alice Harrington, Lake City, FL. and Shirley Burrows, White Springs, FL.; one grandson, Jimmy Fender, Jr.; one great granddaughter, Kylie Fender; special friends, Spence Hutcheson and Gerald Land.
