"Zac" Zachary S. Murphy, age 15, of Jennings, FL., passed away in the early morning hours of February 1, 2015 in Jasper, FL. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Zac was born in Leon County, FL. on January 31, 2000 to Buddy and Kristan Deas Murphy. He was a bright young student at Hamilton County High School in Jasper. He was involved in school activities and enjoyed being active in the "FFA" Future Farmers of America. To say that he was an avid outdoorsman would be an under-statement. He loved to fish, hunt and ride the woods. Zac is being remembered by family and friends over the next few days by wearing his favorite color "Camo". Zac was not afraid of hard work and could be found most summers on the farm helping gather crops or in the yard helping do yard work. Zac was a friend to many and in return had many friends that will remember him always.

Survivors include his parents Hubert H. "Buddy" and Kristan Deas Murphy; his brother, Jordan Murphy; his sister Megan Murphy; all of Jennings, FL.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Also surviving is Zac's girlfriend, Mackenzie Prueter, also of Jennings.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
